About the Job

Sunforge designs high-performance power converters that make solar energy possible for off-grid applications. Our products are among the most efficient in the world and have been chosen by cities to power their lights and street signs, by bike share companies to power their kiosks, and even by Greta Thunberg for her iconic trans-Atlantic boat journey to the UN. Our marketing materials are our window to the world – it is how customers find us, learn about our products, and choose which ones are right for them. As a Marketing Intern, you will create media that highlight our products and how they can be used. This project is an opportunity for you to exercise your creativity while contributing to the fight against climate change. We love ambitious team-players who are willing to take initiative and run with ideas.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Journalism, or similar field of study, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work full time for a 10-14 week internship
  • Preferred: Experience writing journalistic feature stories

Responsibilities:

  • Create vector art for use in presentations, on our website, and in other marketing materials.
  • Compile a repository of high-quality media (photos, video, artwork, etc.) showcasing our products, including requesting permissions for use from customers.
  • Design brochures, presentation templates, and more.
  • Generate content for our website, including profile features on customers using our products in creative ways, like Greta Thunberg (youth climate activist) and Lia Ditton (vying to be the first person to row entirely across the Pacific Ocean).
  • Engage with customers to assess efficacy of marketing campaigns.
  • Any other marketing projects the intern is passionate about and can make a business case for.
